Louise west
Louise is my grandmother, but
To me she is Lollie, and will always be.
I love her dearly
And I know she loves me.
She held me when I was young
Back in my first days,
She helped me when I swimming
I was stuck in the waves.
She raised four children
And seven that are grand,
She prepared them all for life
And the challenges at hand.
Lollie taught me many games
I have not forgotten Huckle Buckle Bean (Is that spelled right?)
It had few rules
Just don’t be mean.
Now there is one more thing to say.
After all is settled and cool
But just one truth will stay with me,
He must not forget the golden rule.
To me she is Lollie, and will always be.
I love her dearly
And I know she loves me.
She held me when I was young
Back in my first days,
She helped me when I swimming
I was stuck in the waves.
She raised four children
And seven that are grand,
She prepared them all for life
And the challenges at hand.
Lollie taught me many games
I have not forgotten Huckle Buckle Bean (Is that spelled right?)
It had few rules
Just don’t be mean.
Now there is one more thing to say.
After all is settled and cool
But just one truth will stay with me,
He must not forget the golden rule.
